We’re back and bigger, I mean better than ever! Since our Fatsgiving party, we’ve gotten a bunch of inquiries looking forward to the next Socal Feabie MeetUp, well the wait it over!

Join us at Historic Naval Center (Fun Fact: Top Gun shot scenes here!) at Liberty Station, one on San Diego’s favorite venues in a private space rented just for our gathering. There’s plenty of parking and a public market (with a happy hour from 3-6pm daily) that you can visit beforehand to fill your belly with a myriad of offerings from the many pop up vendors.

Have a walk (or scoot) around the lovely grounds and then head over to our privately rented event space for a 90 second speed meet and greet to break the ice followed by board games, karaoke, mingling and pizza!

If the market is not your thing, no worries! Come right to our accessible, fat friendly, private space and catch up with old friends and/or make some new ones. We can honestly say it’s a very welcoming environment based on much feedback of attendees in the past, so don’t be shy if you’re traveling alone, we’ve got you!

We will have a variety of seating options including sturdy armless chairs that we will bring for those who need and there will be plenty of space to spread out. We will have a dedicated tabletop gaming area, a central room with Karaoke, and there is a lovely outdoor patio with 2 umbrella covered tables.

Pizza! Don’t worry, we aren’t leaving that part out. For those still wanting a nosh, or for those who know second dinner is never a bad idea, we’ll have pizza order forms from a yummy local shop. You can pick and pay for what you’d like and we’ll make a group order. Get your own or chip in with a friend. Or trade some of yours for another, the options are endless and sure to be yummy!

We will provide bottled water, ice, and paper plates/napkins. If you want any other non-alcoholic beverages (no alcohol allowed at this venue) feel free to bring your own beverages.

For those wanting adult cocktails, we’ll be conveniently located 2 minutes from the Pure Plus Club location, Goodbar. It’s fat friendly with banquette and chair seating and will be open until bar closing time.

As with all of our events, we’re dedicated to making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. We also follow the feabie meet guidelines which can be read here. If you have any questions about access, seating, or any special needs please contact one of the event organizers who will be happy to help you.

We are doing tickets this time to cover expenses and to compile an accurate headcount.

Refund Policy: All Donations Are Final & Non-Refundable. However, you may sell or transfer your ticket.

Tickets will be by donations tiered for those on a tighter budget vs those who are in the position to offer extra. If you cannot afford a ticket, we can work with you. Please contact us privately at [email protected] and we will list you for a sponsored spot and/or we have a few staff spots for setup/cleanup as well.

Your donation tier will be completely private and only seen by our moderators. Your payment information is secure and will not be shared.

All funds collected are for the event and not for profit. If we receive extra we will put it towards extra pizza and/or our next event.
